The people at the Dog Stop told me they could isolate dogs that are not good with other dogs. YMMV but may be worth a phone call?

My stepfather used to use [http://www.steelcitypetsitters.com/](http://www.steelcitypetsitters.com/) for his two dogs and cats. I know they did an awesome job and he highly recommended them to everyone he knew.

Youre probably better off using a service like Wag or Rover.

Talk to your vet. A lot of the vet techs will do dog sitting on the side or they may be able to recommend someone

I have the opposite problem. One of my dogs loves other dogs, but will absolutely take the hand and forearm of a human other than my wife and I given the chance if not approached properly (and with food). Honestly, he's taken a few chunks out of both of us over the years, too. Just do like we do and don't go anywhere because nobody wants to deal with that hellspawned creature!

Hey! Have you tried using rover.com? Also, my sister in law does dog sitting if you’d like me to send you her dog sitting page :) she has experience with German Shepards and border collies and everything in between!
Anyone know of a summer soccer camp for young kids in the area?
Kelli P. replied:
I'm not sure of a soccer camp in ER but ERPS is offering weekly summer camps this year. If you contact Central Office they may be able to give you the info. Age info wasn't provided on the flyer I received. Sorry, I don't have the flyer to post.

MSU has all kinds of summer sports camps for kids, but they are a bit pricey-- http://spartanyouth.msu.edu/Resource.aspx?ResourceID=67

Tracy, I was so impressed with a girl who did face painting at Zoo Boo that I hired her for our Frozen party. She was well-priced, fast and she did every child and adult (who wanted) at the party. I loved her! Her name is Bonnie and her phone number is (412) 692-1591. I would call and see if she is available and if she will travel.

My son had an awesome time at Shiloh, part of the Baltimore Yearly Meeting camping program, but it is far away There are others in that program that are closer and I know other parents at PFM have direct experience with those (Gina?). There is Land's End Farm, which is in PA. I don't know anything about it other than seeing ads in Friends Journal. There is also Camp Dark Waters in southern NJ, I think Mary Davidson's grandsons went there a few times, she might have input.

Sharon, the girls have LOVED the BYM Camps they have gone to. They are already registered for the last 2 weeks at Opequon. Check it out: http://bymcamps.org/ Opequon is about 3 hours away, I think.
Hey! Looking for a camp to host my project. I'll be flying in so extras arn't an option. Are there any camps planning an indoor or sheltered bar? Building an event scale...
Frostburn replied:
If the past is any indication, there will be plenty of indoor/covered spaces that can accommodate such a project (sounds awesome!!). Keep an eye on the theme camps page (http://frostburnpgh.com/2012 camps.html) and if you see anything pop up on there that you think would be a good fit, let us know and we'll put you in touch with someone. Whiskey & Whores brought an amazing set-up last year that would have been perfect for this. I hope they come back! (-momo)

Looking for some assistance. We recently bought a camp in Pittsburg on route 3 by Back lake and have no cell service. Does anyone know of any plans that work out there?
Parker G. replied:
Verizon SOMETIMES has service at back lake but it is very spotty and unreliable and you pretty much have to be on the lake to receive service. Part of what makes Pittsburg great is the ability to disconnect for a few days. Go out and enjoy the great outdoors and relax dont worry about ur cellphone.
Jake H. replied:
Yes it is. If you need phone service or wifi all the time stay south. You can have it while your at buck rub. Enjoy the way the world is up there. DON'T Ever change it .
Jim D. replied:
All T-Mobile phones work over WIfi. I have Fairpoint internet at my camp near 1 st lake and my cell phone texts and calls fine within 100 feet of my camp. It also now has good CELL service from Spruce Cones south thru the village and on some trails

Congrats! We have used The Dog Stop ( Washington blvd) for daycare and boarding. They've worked out great for us- I especially liked that they got " people alone time" and a kong with peanut butter at night. Down side- no humans are there overni ght. When we started having more than one I started using my son's gf - and would have her come stay at our house when we were gone. That works great too!! What area of town are you in?
Chin T. replied:
Dale: We currently live in Shadyside, but we will be moving to Highland Park soon. We will try The Dog Stop - "people alone time" sounds like what Doug needs. Given a choice, Doug will always choose people over other dogs...We think he thinks he is human
