Any of yinz know a good basement waterproofing company in the area? Or at least bad ones to avoid?
Jodi H. replied:
We used Advanced Basement Solutions. No complaints.

I called Matthews Wall Anchor once for a quote. They told me not to waterproof the basement but to pursue a better drainage solution instead. I don't think anything speaks more highly for a company than when they steer you to a better solution instead of trying to make money off you.
Ron G. replied:
It looks like your company of choice is Public Works. There's no reason for street runoff to be coming into your basement. Mariani and Richards is also reputable (despite their goofy ads), the others seem to have good reputations, too. Problems with specific jobs are probably due to unique circumstances. Is the City going to fix their end of the issue first? Then a landscaping, underground, and interior solution should be considered in tandem. Water always wins. Convince it to go elsewhere.
In need of a good basement waterproofing company...any suggestions? We tried keystone and ended up spending a fortune and are still getting water in our basement. Help...
