When we moved here from Arkansas I looked over our insurance plan and googled allergist reviews. I found Dr Hari Reddy in Allen! Not the closest for you guys but he is Awesome!! We love his bedside manner. And he treats my son and I! I can tell you my allergies are horrible right now so if she has asthma she defiantly needs to go see an allergist. She'll need to be tested so you know what to keep her away from. And you may consider a humidifier, mattress and box spring cover, and an allergy filter for her room. Dr Hari Reddy(972)20747-7007

Marissa sees Dr. Sugerman. He has treater her allergies and asthma since she was 18 mths old. She is doing so much better now. I would also give JayFay allergy meds this morning if you haven't already. If it is allergy induced it will certainly help.

Plano East grad allergist and pulmonary dr that was recommended to my asthmatic daughter around the same age. His name is dr. Van wagoner, he will do an allergy test on her and see what the triggers are. Poor thing! I know how helpless you are feeling, but Makinsey never had problems after he started treating her! Sarah, read about a test called ImmunoCAP. The website is www.isitallergy.com. It is a simple blood test that can detect allergies. Might check and see if your pediatrician uses it. Several of my friends kids have had it done.

Shirley M. replied:
Shannon, Darla is absolutely right, once you have a breakout on the outside it is worse on the inside. I had a 3 day stay in the hospital because the hives would go away, but come back. It can get serious, not to scare you, but it can cause the throat and tongue to swell to the point you can't get air.
NEED SUGGESTION: Looking for a new allergist...our current one is retiring (and was at Medical City Dallas). Would love to find one closer to home...know a good one??

Southwest Allergy & Asthma. Dr. Van Wagoner. We love that office. Tollway/Parkerish.
Plano people. Michael needs an allergist. Does anyone have someone they really recommend?
Julia D. replied:
Lyssy, I LOVE mine. His name is Dr. Meiser and he is off the tollway and Lebanon on Frisco. He's not Plano, so I don't know if that eliminates him. The office is about 10 minutes north of west.
Teresa G. replied:
Dr. Nicole Bryan, she is located at Hebron & Josey in Carrollton. Don't know if they have a Plano office or not.
Marti G. replied:
William Nguyen in the complex near Plano Medical Center. Jill and I went to him. He ruled out allergies...just over sensitive to seasonal allergens. Appreciated him a lot!
Charly's latest rash yesterday. Pediatrician is calling allergist to get us in ASAP. High doses of Benadryl took forever and he needed Motrin to ease the discomfort....
