I suggest just get a prescription for physical therapy. Then I recommend Kevin at Kinetic Physical Therapy on Preston and Hedgecoxe. With any luck he will see if dry needling is what you need. It helped my son play UTD soccer with groin and hamsting injuries missing no games. I had knee surgery a few months ago and six weeks in my calf and then hamstring was holding me back. He spotted the problem area and the dry needle was almost instant each time. It should be said that this is not in anyway similar to acupuncture.

I work at Pitman Creek Physical Therapy and both the therapists there can work with that type of injury. However, you do need a doc's referral.
