L&W Orthopedic in Richardson - I saw Dr Wey. I ended up having to have surgery and he was good.

I highly recommend doctor Robert berry. He did SLAP repair on my left should and put plate in my collar bone. He was assistant orthopedic surgeon for San Diego chargers prior to setting up practice in north Texas.

I used Alan Barber for myself for a torn ACL many years ago. I recommend him

Richard Levy in Snider Plaza repaired my torn rotator cuff a few years back. Terrific experience with him...detailed explanation and realistic expectation for recovery. I'm sorry you need this info.
James J. replied:
Alan Barber did my rotator cuff and labrum surgery in 2015. He was fantastic. An old school cool kind of surgeon.

I just had surgery for a detached labrum and nearly detached rotator cuff. I saw Jeffrey Bayless in Irving on a recommendation from a colleague. The downside was that I felt like my post-op instructions were too vague or conflicting. But I do appear to have excellent results. I'm almost 6 weeks post surgery and my range of motion is better than anyone, including my PT, expected. I will say that, when it comes to PT, a couple of PBA members pointed me toward Clair Physical Therapy in Plano at Park and Ohio and they are A-MAZING, so definitely file that away for when you need it.

Alan Barber is very good. Worked on my son's knees

George Markus is the unofficial Dr of the PBA. If he can't fix you I'm sure he knows someone that can. You've met George, he leads the Pop B ride.
I would love recommendations for a great Orthopedic Surgeon who knows knees that you have used. One who loves athletes who want to stay active. Thank you!
