hello Sausers!
I need reliable internet service. I have O2 and we all know how it is... I found that there is whole bunch of small internet providers, and some of them...
The most reliable is t-systems, but they are are not available everywhere. Note that this is NOTE t-mobile. T Systems are all fiber optic, so no ancient DSL or Cable technology. Going from DSL to Fiber is as big a jump as going from dial up to DSL was back then. http://www.t-systems.cz/

Oh and by small internet providers, do you mean the ones that offere you a WiFi connection with a Yagi? Those are definitely less reliable than O2. A better option might be to stick with O2 and then get ufon 3G as a backup when O2 goes down. Ufon is not fast, but its pretty reliable, and has a 1Gig per day FUP. www.ufon.cz

Try Skynet. They are active providers in Prague 5. Site is www.poda.cz They have nice tariffs and speed too Secondly, Airwaynet.cz You need to go to their sites, its obviously in Czech but just write and email with your address and all and they will get back to you stating if they are in that area..

I've had quite a good experience for the past 6-7 months with WIA DSL https://dsl.wia.cz/ You do have to buy the modem, but otherwise you can stop the subscription any time you want (it's enough to just stop paying).
Can anyone recommend an internet service provider apart from O2 and UPC? Any experiences with other providers would be interesting to hear. Thanks

Geoff Engel - a great man and powerful business executive - has been recommending www.airwaynet.cz (as recommended above by Jonathan M Smith). Having a great respect for Geoff's knowledge of all-things-geeky, I am certain it is a great company.
