Partially Vítkov monument. It has got a nice exhibition about the formation and history of Czech state including the communism period. And you can also see the chamber where Klement Gottwald was mummified.:)

once i made the free tour of Sandenman with a friend that was visiting and it was really worthy. I had a spanish guy that studied history so it was like been in a really good class of history :D really nice and he knew a lot! Maybe you can check the staff and see if they have someone similar who speaks english. http://www.neweuropetours.eu/

The impact of communism to this country is indeed rather complex, the perhaps most cruel face of it can be seen here: http://www.muzeum-pribram.cz/en/vojna-memorial-lesetice/from-history/ - the place is not easily accessible by public transport from Prague, though.

The only good thing I've heard about U Fleku is their brewery tour, actually. But not from personal experience. Staropramen is horrible - not worth your time. I use Jihomestsky Pivovar (Haje/Chodov), when I do beer tastings.
Kate D. replied:
I haven't been there in years, but Pivovarsky Dum has the tasting glasses. They might do tours. Kulovy Blesk would not be a good option, not big enough of for that kind of group and I don't think they do tastings.
Hi Saucers. I'm planning a spring/summer road trip through Spain and need help. May or July, which would be the best month? Why? Any recommendations of places to visit?...
Susan O. replied:
Go in May, especially if you are camping. July and August are the hottest months in Spain. Most travel guides advise against going then. I went during that time period because it was the only time I could, and it was terribly hot. I am from Texas and used to heat, and it was still overwhelming. ... I did some camping and stayed in small hotels. My favourite cities were Barcelona (!!!), Granada (the Alhambra is spectacular), and Santander (!!!). I've heard that Valencia has been greatly improved since I visited. Any cities on the Mediterreanean will be great places to stay. I took the train along that coast and the beaches and views are amazing.:)
