Yrmc physician care Cardiology. As a hospital based physician group, I believe all the yrmc physician care groups must accept medicare.

I work at cardiac care with Dr. Patel. It is in PV, don't know if it's a problem that it's not in Prescott. But we accept medicare and new patients.

Dr Rothrock may not have the bedside manner that you want, but he is a good cardiologist. However, James D'Antonio would be my recommendation (Dr Rizk isn't taking new patients.)

Dr. Rizk is not taking new patients. I tried. I feel your struggle Lori, we moved here last September and it's been almost impossible to find a highly rated Cardiologist. I almost cried when I heard Rizk wasn't taking new patients. I've done a tremendous amount of research, I was tempted to just find a Cardio in Scottsdale at the Mayo Clinic but since I only needed my BP meds refilled and blood work I ended up visiting Dr. Cantor (he is in with Dr. Rizk and is in his 70's). My appointment was last week. He is running a series of tests on me. He seems thorough, I liked him..

Dr Rothrock. my hubs developed fluid around his heart and Dr Rothrock was the attending physician at ER - within an hour he had my hubs in surgery to drain the fluid. He is a no nonsense man -great bedside manner but you better ''tow-the-line' when he tells you something.
