I need your advice. I am a 46 y/o male seeking a primary care physician. I have respiratory issues but am mostly healthy other than that. Does anyone have any advice on...
Lindsey E. replied:
For your respiratory needs, I highly recommend Dr. El-Harakeh. He's amazing. He's not a primary doctor, though, just a pulmonologist.
Amber H. replied:
I recommend Shane Jenson and Mike Frost, both amazing FNP'S at Family Medical Walk In, in Prescott Valley. https://m.facebook.com/familymedicalwalkin/
Annette R. replied:
when I moved to Prescott a few months ago, I immediately started looking for a primary physician and called around: all the ones I selected based on reviews on healthgrade.com or other sites didn't take new patients, and/or not anybody on Medicare. I finally got an appointment with a doctor I'm not thrilled about for January, just to get my prescriptions refilled. I'm still old fashioned and want see a doctor, not a nurse practitioner. if my health needs attention, I guess I will have to show up in the emergency room, or get help via skype from my son who is a doctor in Florida. I'm afraid this is the current situation for newcomers to Prescott. shouldn't be that way! :(
Beckie B. replied:
Shirley Rheinfelder in Prescott Valley is the best. She is an MD and her office staff are good.

Kelli S. replied:
My husbands doctor is, Dr Griffith. Give him a try. My husband has used him for years!!!
Diane S. replied:
We have had huge success raising funds by asking for donations for a yard sale. People are very generous with that and we have always raised over what you are asking for. If you choose an online fundraiser use youcaring.com instead of gofundme. Gofundme charges fees beyond the credit card processing fees. Good luck and God Bless
Marcia G. replied:
Amanda, sorry to hear your husband is having health issues. Our health is really the most important thing and we all tend to take it for granted... hope he finds out the issue and gets better soon....I am a Gold Canyon Candle Independent Leader Consultant and If you want to try a fundraiser -- sometimes it works better than gofundme... as they recieve a product for their funds... my website is www.mgore.mygc.com .. our fundraiser rules are very relaxed as we know there are many reasons people need to raise funds... feel free to contact me if you want to give it a try...

Priscilla G. replied:
We took my husband to family walk in clinic in Dewey and saw Cindy Brown and Fiona. Both of them were phenomenal Dr. Very caring, took time to listen to everything we said. Made me feel like what I had to say was just as important as what my husband was telling them. They didn’t just try to hand him scripts and then rush him out the door. They took detailed notes and wouldn’t let us even leave till they tracked down his records. The front staff and nurses were all very nice and paid attention to everything you told them. I was so surprised to see him get the care he got, and I’m so happy we found them.

Hi Heather:)I really like Dr. Mary Moyer on Windsong in PV. I've always found her easy to talk to, sensitive and attentive to my thoughts and concerns, straightforward, and very pleasant. The office has a wonderful staff as well, and she works with a FNP as well. I don't know if she's taking new patients at this time or not, but I think you should consider her.
Meghan S. replied:
Dr Susan Godman. The best, hands down. Spent 5 years going to dr's trying to help my daughter who had severe stomach problems. She was the only that helped us and figured out why she was having problems. Come to find out, gluten. Go figure.
