Recommendations on a good massage therapist during pregnancy?
Karla W. replied:
Jackie Schlamp RMT. She is awesome. She does pregnancy massage, infant massage and is a doula too! http://www.jackiesrmt.com/
Mandy K. replied:
Shalla Reimer at Healthy Roots Massage. I have gone to her for 15 years and all of my pregnancies. I am seeing her for this twin pregnancy as well. You can google Healthy Roots and they have online booking which is really convenient.
Jacqueline M. replied:
Theresa at Mecca Massage is amazing
Danette E. replied:
Garret Woynarski. You can even book online. He isn't specifically a pregnancy specialist, but has a massage table with a section he can take out so you actually get to lay on your front. Oh it is wonderful! I went to see him when I was pregnant with my daughter and have been going this time with this pregnancy as well. I like a massage that isn't all relaxation but actually gets into the sore/stressed muscles and works on them. I very much recommend him- pregnant or otherwise.
Camille W. replied:
Heather Ireland and she is also a Dula
Kristi B. replied:
I'd recommend Crystal Schouten at synergy health and wellness, also a doula. I'm a physio and have a specialty in women's health so if problem doesn't improve with massage, we can be easily accessed to book an assessment. We also have a postpartum group for moms (and babes) to help get core and function back after pregnancy. Synergphysioregina.com if interested. hope u feel better soon!
