Glad I could help today. I have Dr flaherty on east ridge rd irondequoit. He is great and so are his PA's. He is taking new patients. 467-7007 if you are interested. The office always responds to refill requests promptly also!! He also has his own after hours behind the building on nights and weekends so it is nice because they have access to your records if needed.

I go to Strong Internal Medicine (in the hospital) now that I live in Henrietta (and am very happy so far) but was a patient at West Ridge Med- Peds for years & my parents still go there. They are in the office complex behind Friendlys on West Ridge Rd.
David C. replied:
Dr. Nussbaum. 2350 Ridgeway Ave. Very happy with him and the office so far.
Ashley B. replied:
Dr Baxter at unity family medicine is great. I go to rochester internal med associates (across from mcc) and they are great. I never have a problem getting same day appointments and I always see my md not someone else. They also have a great pt portal so I can do things like ask questions and request refills online
Does anyone have a primary care physician recommendation? We recently moved to the area and I'd like one that's vegan-friendly. Thanks in advance!
Sophitia W. replied:
I go to Kristen Smith at Trillium. She's vegan.
Julie L. replied:
Dr. Campbell is the son of T. Colin Campbell, who co-wrote The China Study. https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/people/27426401-thomas-m-campbell
Barb D. replied:
Dr. Thomas Campbell!

For everyone who didn't read through the thread, Dr. Campbell is NOT accepting new patients, sadly. Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! I made an appointment with Dr. Nugent:)
Ivy H. replied:
Dr. Nugent is my primary care and I really like her!
Kay S. replied:
Dr. Michelle Cicilline may not be vegan herself but is very supportive of the vegan lifestyle, apparently even attending a number of informational RAVS events.
Meaghan O. replied:
Try almost any DO - Doctor of Osteopathy. I personally love Dr. Eileen Nugent on senator keating blvd. (I believe she is taking new patients) I'm not entirely sure she is vegan but she's incredibly respectful of her patients' input on their decisions about their own health. That's kinda key for a doctor, IMO...
Denise B. replied:
Valerie Newman at Artemis health an all women practice. My s/o goes to dr. Campbell. I think he has lots of patients. Artemis is easy to access. .

Sandy R. replied:
I use Highland Family Medicine (777 S Clinton Ave). Been a patient with them going on 40 years. Convenient hours, good location, knowledgeable of up to date treatments, and friendly staff.
Ancelin Q. replied:
I am a patient at Highland Family Medicine and have a primary care but have seen various doctor's when I've needed an appointment and mine was not available. Good practice. Only thing is it's a pain in the ass to be on the phone because the automated message is WAY too long and you end up on hold for a while but they have a huge panel of patients. You can make non urgent appointments through the patient portal though.
Nikki G. replied:
Try Olson medical group at Clinton Crossing Dr Sousou 341 - 7200

Dr. Gary Glazer is AWESOME

Yes, GoodMD. My wife and I both use her. It's fantastic. She doesn't take insurance, so she's not trying to see 800 patients/day. We have her cell phone and can contact her at anytime. It's really a great practice. My wife does a lot of essential oil/non-meds healing and she has been really please with Dr. Huynh.
