I used another company listed here & had to call & have them come out every month for ant problems. They also told me the fertilizer they use on our yard would make our lawn guy upset because everything would be so lush. Gave them a year to get it right & was still calling monthly w/ant problems & our yard never did change & become more lush during that time. Gave them a year but figured that was long enough & ended our contract. I now highly recommend Sean Wilson Sr. of Tradewinds instead of that other company.

THIS is the stuff you want. Non toxic but you can't buy it in a store. A 1" dab of this stuff along the area will do it. DONT wipe it off! The ants need to take it back to their nests. I use Terro in my home for those ants. Works better than anything else I have used, borax, food grade diatomaceous earth. You can find it in WalMArt or Lowes. The ants you describe are a real pain. Pest Control Companiy will come out and get rid of them, by giving you a gel pack as well, and they will come out monthly.

When we first moved here seven years ago, we found a few in the house. I thought they were cool and I would just pick them up and throw them in the yard. Then somebody at work told me they were just big cock roaches! We used Truly Nolen for a couple years and never saw any more except maybe one on the lanai every once in a while.

Sean Wilson Sr. At Tradewinds supplies the samething for free if your a customer. He planted all over my house and we are ghost free. I know the ones Sean uses allows the ants to eat then return to feed some to the queen so she dies also
