San Antonio ... any recommendations for a pediatric ENT? Thanks!
Monica M. replied:
I, too, have taken my son to see Dr. Bonilla...he was GREAT at explaining things, GREAT with my son and extremely helpful.
Tanya D. replied:
2 of my girls went to Dr Patrick Brown. He isn't a pediatric but he saw my girls at ages 2 and 6 and removed tonsils.
Jennifer B. replied:
Yep, Bonilla is who we want to see, it's who our pediatrician highly recommended, and we actually have an appointment with him but not until the 25 th. Boo! Plus they gave us a hard time because we saw his partner, ONCE, 2 YEARS AGO, so that defines us as an established patient, and they told me they don't see each other's patients. After about 3, 5-10 minute phone calls of being on hold, I was told the doctors finally agreed to switch Jenna over to see Dr. Bonilla. They acted like they were doing us a favor. Yes, I'm irked about this. ggrrrrr Anybody ever been to Dr. Spears?
Monica M. replied:
I had no idea it was THAT difficult to switch within the same practice!!! Wow!!! I bet Dr. Bonilla has more requests, and they're trying to keep some with the other Dr.
Becky F. replied:
We go to Dr Vaughn with alamo asthma and allergies n they are a husband a wife team and are. AWESOME!!! We go to Adrienne Vaughn and she is super great with kids (Zac and Jackson) and also adults (jon). Love love love them
Erin R. replied:
Frankie goes to Dr. Kevin Browne... Medical center. He's very old school (office isn't fancy, same 2 employees running the place for years and years), but super sweet and works solo. Never ever had a problem in 6 years. My Dad and hubby have seen him, too.
Michelle L. replied:
We all see Dr. Kevin Browne too. Love him! Super nice, yes nothing fancy but very good with the kids as well as adults!
Liza L. replied:
Dr. Moe is his partner. He's wonderful. My husband is a neonatologist and works with both Dr. Moe and Bonilla. Dr. Moe did our sons tubes. I absolutely would not hesitate to go to Dr. Moe and certainly would not pick one over the other in that practice. As an NNP I worked with both as well and they are both fantastic. Matthew loves Dr. Moe also!
Anyone in San Antonio used a Pediatric ENT that they would recommend? Our doctor wants us to get Ellie and her giant tonsils evaluated by a specialist. Thanks!
Kristen H. replied:
We saw Dr. Juan Bonilla when Halle needed tubes in her ears and I liked him a lot. http://www.pedient.com/
Lisa M. replied:
Yes! Pediatric ENT is who we used. Dr. Sharapova was real quiet but did a great job!
Shannon E. replied:
Dr. Bediger at Alamo ENT on Stone Oak. He's the best!
Tracie B. replied:
Dr. Bonilla here.
Cortney O. replied:
Emme just had tubes put in her ears. We see Christine Gilliam. So far, we like her. She's with Everyone's ENT in stone oak.
Alyssa G. replied:
We love Dr. Rosenbloom at Alamo ENT! He's not pediatric, but the office treats my kids like they are made of gold! And they can always squeeze in last-minute appointments. Love them!
Joanie H. replied:
we like Dr.Gilliam at Everyone's ENT at 502 madison Oak. Don't think she is pediatric, but is super great.
Emily W. replied:
Thanks everyone for all your recommendations. I ended up making an appointment with Dr. Bonilla since my pediatrician also recommended him.
This doctor is AMAZING!!!! She found the tumor in Gilbert, Holden's Godfather's brain that was causing him severe tinnitus and other problems when no other did. She is one of the best!!!! Ent clinics of SA is the slowest most molasses place in the entire world. And I hate them. And I'm stuck going to them bc they have fords history and all that. Try to avoid them, but they are big, so a lot of dr's will rec them...
If anyone in our area needs a recommendation for an ENT please let me know. Micah's doctor is the best doctor I've ever known! Wow just wow!!!
Sandra S. replied:
I don't know who you used but Dr. Bonilla and Dr. Moe worked on both of my children that needed ENTs.
Heather S. replied:
Dr Browne! I have a general opinion of not liking most doctors because I've worked with and for so many...but this one is awesome and his staff is too!
