I went to LasikPlus, and my total cost was $3500. Dr. January was awesome, and the whole experience was easy. I took a Xanax before because I'm a nervous person, and after they gave me Tylenol PM. I passed out in the car on the way home, then woke up about 4 hours later feeling like my eyes were on fire. As soon as I got some eye drops in I was fine, and went back to sleep. Next day I was seeing 20/15 with a slight haze. 5 months later my vision is awesome, but I have slight residual halos at night. It was honestly the best decision I've ever made. Every now and then I still go to reach for my glasses in the morning, then realize I can see.

YES. Dr. Kristen Held on Sonterra did mine -- she believes in "perfection." Also, Dr. Parkhurst is a new SACS dad and has done thousands of LASIK procedures. I think he's head of the opthalmology program at ICW, too.

Yes! My sister is Allison Young and she is actually the other doctor in practice with Dr. Held at Stone Oak Ophthalmology! She did my LASIK 1.5 years ago and did an outstanding job. She's an amazing doctor with a super sweet personality and she has top notch credentials - ivy league undergrad and Wills Eye Residency program in Philly, can't beat it! I'd highly recommend her (even is she wasn't my sister)!
