Hi there local friends!
We're looking for a new family doctor and an endocrinologist (diabetes doctor). Any recommendations? We're retired military, so Randolph would...
Jan H. replied:
My endocrinologist is Jamie Cruz in Stone Oak, he is amazing. We use Primary Health Care, Dr. Anthony Wright. I have used them since opening, I highly recommend him and they accept Tri Care.
Christi D. replied:
We go to the Diabetes & Glandular and love Brandons endo. Dr Pankratz. Chad loves the MedFirst group in Schertz, I'm still looking for a doc I like though. http://www.dgdclinic.com/
Jackie W. replied:
Katelyn and karly see Dr. Michelle Welch at stone oak.
Vanessa W. replied:
JoshuaWooten's endocrinologist is Dr. Mark Danney. He is a pediatric doc. He works at the Diabetes and Glandular Disease Clinic on Medical Drive. Regular pediatric doctor is at ABCD Pediatric on 3009 in Schertz. James A Wooten and I see doctors at Alamo City Medical Group which is in the medical office building by RBFCU and Sonic, Taco Cabana off 3009 and I35 in Schertz.
Jackie W. replied:
Katelyn and Karly saw Dr. Danney for a while. We thought that he was not sympathic to women's glandular issues.
Jackie W. replied:
Tracie White has an endocrinologist she is happy with.
Christi D. replied:
I heard Dr Danney was awesome yet non sympathetic, Dr Pankratz is in that same group & she's extremely sweet & speaks at the Diabetes conventions & stuff, smart lady. We use to see Dr Lopez@Alamo City Medical Group and really liked them but to get an appointment can be a long wait sometimes.
In need of an endocrinologist. Any recommendations?
Heather A. replied:
I go to Dr. Ramon Garza (so does my Dad). I mostly see his PA but she is great too. However, I often wait for an hour or more to be seen. If I didn't like him so much I'd find another because of the wait but he's really helped me (and my Dad) thus far so I've stuck around.
Kimberly S. replied:
I use Laura Akright and staff are wonderful. I used to go to dr Garza. But my time is too precious to me, I would wait no less than 1 hr to see him for no more than 5 mins
Meg S. replied:
I see Dr Salhin at the Diabetes and Glandular Center in the medical center.
Debi S. replied:
Dr Michelle welch's office in Stone Oak
Kimberly F. replied:
I've heard amazing things about Dr. Laura Akright. She came highly recommended when I needed one and she's right off of Schertz Pkwy. Her husband used to be our OBGYN.
Dana D. replied:
Juanita Carlton hopefully one of these doctors can help you. I called Welch and Akright. Both are accepting new patients but no appointments before mid April.
So I'm on vacation starting tomorrow.... and during the week, I have meetings/appointments with the gynecologist, endocrinologist, radiologist (my first mammo...UGH),...
Need a new Endocrinologist in the medical center area. REALLY BUMMED that I have to switch after 18 years with the same one. Anyone have one they love??
