I see Dr. Thomas Rennie and he's right up the street from you.
Kimberly M. replied:
Dr. Rennie is the one my doc recommended...but they need files from my doc so I am heading there tomorrow to hope he will listen to me. He is skeptical of fibromyalgia and thinks it is all in my head...I just want pain relief without a lot of crazy side effects. We have tried two meds but both had bad side effects to me so I am still trying to find something. Tylenol does NOT cut it at all. I am stuck in the recliner today...too much activity this weekend I guess...can't sit in my office chair b/c my back hurts too bad.

Dr Rudolfo Molina is great too

I see Dr. Gerald Rosenberg at Arthritis Associates. I have seen him for several years and I really like him.
Patricia F. replied:
Kimberly McDaniel, I see Dr. Rosenberg for fibromyalgia as well as arthritis. He is wonderful and is interested in the patient's quality of life. If rennie does not work out, I really recommend Dr R.
Kimberly M. replied:
Thanks for the recommendations ladies. I have been given another med to try and no rec to the rhumatologist yet. He has done the blood work and thinks it is more psychological than physiological. So it is in my head. He is keeping me on Lyrica but a very very low dose in hopes to build back up to the crazy dose from yesterday. He commented he has never had a patient so sensitive to meds before. We have tried three different ones now..ugh! Praying the Lyrica works and if not then he will try Paxil again at a lower dose than before and send me to Dr. Rennie. He is giving it a few weeks though...I can tolerate a few weeks since I leave to get the kids Friday and then we have a few weeks till back to school....spend my time with them and worry about docs once school starts.
Does anyone is the San Antonio/New Braunfels area have a rheumatologist that you could recommend. A friend has reentry moved to the area and is looking for a doctor. ...
