My sons went to Early Explorations, now called Bright Horizons. I'm pretty sure they take all ages. I absolutely loved the school, the teachers and the facilities etc. It was a while ago so I really don't know what their rates are now, you'd have to look into that. But just thought I'd give a shout-out that it's a great preschool!

My LO is about to start Early headstart program at the Evelyne lobo villegas head start in San Juan . part time they have 8-11:30 or 12:30-4:00 You can reach them through orange county headstart . This is their website www.ochsinc.org Also its a school for low income families so I believe they won't charge as much as a regular day care.

My son went to Early Explorations and we loved it there. It's called Bright Horizons now, but had same director/teachers/programs which were all awesome for us. It's great because they take kiddos from young toddlers and up to pre-K. They have fun summer programs with field trips too!

Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first child next year. Can anyone recommend a good day care for infants?
thanks!
Diane P. replied:
My 2 year old recently started at San Clemente Montessori (on Pico) and so far we really love it. It just opened in August and they did a great job with it. Very minimal and CLEAN! The staff is great. Aside from in home daycares, I don't think you'll have much of a choice for an infant. There is also Goddard in Ladera (you'd go up La Pata) which several of my friends have loved for their infants. There are also a good number of in-home daycares that people have used and loved. Congrats, by the way!

Nancy P. replied:
This has been brought up before and discussed. The overall favorite is Camp Bow Wow. My dog has gone there for years. They are great!
Carol M. replied:
Wow, I'm surprised. In my opinion, Paws Pet Resort IS the best. If you had an issue, did you speak with the owner? She's great. My dog is almost 7 and I've used them since he was 6 months old for both boarding and day camp (small dogs, he's about 35 lbs) They've also done baths, trimmed nails, a little "training" If Seth is still there, he's wonderful with dogs. I gave Camp Bow Wow a try three times over the years. Each time... whether it was 3-4 hrs or a full 8+ hr day, he came home acting a bit frantic and starving(!) like he didn't get fed. As best I understand, they shut down for lunch and put all the dogs in the caged kennels and there isn't much benefit to the "outside" access. Take a tour and check it out well. Good luck.
