I highly recommend Dr. Norman Chung, whose office is in Hayward. He's hip to acupuncture & chiropractic, which is rare for a surgeon! More important, he told me I DON'T NEED surgery, so he's not anxious to cut and explore as some are. (I have sports & dance injuries).
My sweet little mini-labradoodle has a ruptured ACL. Can anyone recommend a great veterinary orthopedic surgeon?

Hi Jane, so sorry to hear about Dixie. Dr Lageruff at the Animal Doctors did that surgery on Rex quite a few years ago. He did a great job and Rex healed well. Rex did not need an orthopedic surgeon for his ACL tear. I hope you find Dixie the best surgeon or orthopedic surgeon she needs.

http://www.petsurgeonla.com/nebl.html Jane Dr. Leeds is in Torrance, CA , but perhaps you can call there and get a reference to find an Orthopedic Veterinarian in your area. I feel for you. I have two Huskies. The one female has a lot of dysplasias and I have taken her to see Dr. Leeds and he is excellent. My husky did not need surgery but Dr. Leeds gave me excellent advice. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you. Chris
