My two teens (1 boy 1 girl) see Dr. Laurel Schultz. Not conscientious to us out here in Bernal but she is great! Even my teen boy will open up and talk to her. In addition she caught a benign tumor in him that no one else did before it cause a serious issue. Love her!!
Kelly K. replied:
Amy, One Medical Group is afforadable and they take any insurance (except medi-cal). They have an incredible line up of docs and NP's.
Kathy R. replied:
I'm also a member of One Medical for myself. I was disappointed they couldn't take my kid.:( But they are really efficient and nice and responsive, especially if you're used to dealing with JERKS like Pacific Family Practice.
Martha B. replied:
We have Dr Quock & Dr Lau.

We just switched from UCSF to Palo Alto Medical Fdn (formerly known as Bay Area Pediatrics). We got assigned to Devi Ananda, and she is wonderful. My child is only 8, however, so I don't know her teen scene.

Just for context, the intensity of immune response is determined not so much by the number of vaccine targets, but mainly by the amount of adjuvant added to the vaccine http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adjuvant

Its purpose is to get people to go to their doctor's office to ensure that those who sign the exemption forms truly believe that way and are not just too lazy to go to the doctor. Doctor Cowen in SF signed ours. He has been our doc for years. Yesterday at 10:39 am

Great to know about the system-wide endorsement of a plant-based diet at Kaiser. That is encouraging. I currently do use One Medical for my own primary care doctor, but they too are no longer covered by my self-insured Blue Shield plan.
Florian â. replied:
Jesse, here is the info on the endorsement of the plant based diet from Kaiser. Also, I love that everything is digital and you can make appointments and communicate with your doctor through an iPhone app. And the Kaiser health center in Walnut Creek even has free valet service. Kaiser feels more like a hotel check in than going to a doctor. http://www.thepermanentejournal.org/issues/2013/spring/5117-nutrition.html
We will be moving to St Pete in April. I would like some help finding resources such Good pediatricians, head start or Preschool for my 3 year old, and a good school for...
MOMS N. replied:
Hi Taylee! St Pete is a pretty large city. Our area covers the northeast side of St Pete, though we have had some members move to other areas. I live on the west side and my area is great. Some safe of the neighborhoods over here are Old Pasadena, Lake Pasadena, Eagle Crest, Azaela, and Jungle Terrace. I use Dr Lori McAuliffe and am very happy with her. We have a "lottery" for fundamental and magnet schools, which just ended so your only option would be your zoned school or private school. You can check out greatschools.org for ratings in the area. Preschool prior to 4 is private pay and VPK (head start) starts at 4. There are probably thousands of providers in the area and there is always a good one within a short drive. So, please contact us again when you move and we would be happy to help you with anything else! -christine
