Can anyone recommend English speaking doctors in Okayama? Specifically I am looking for a:
- PCP / General Practitioner
- Dentist
- Oncologist
Andrea M. replied:
I work for a private clinic in the southern part of Okayama city and the head doctor there speaks brilliant English. He is a general practioner but the clinic is known for being a cancer hospice as well, so he would be able to refer you to an oncologist. Here is the homepage (in Japanese); the clinic is accessible by car, or by bus from Okayama station (take the Okaden express bus headed for Rosai Hospital, get off at Namiki-cho 2-chome) http://www.kato-namiki.or.jp/access-info.html
Andrea M. replied:
Dr. Matsuo at Matsuo Clinic (General Practioner) also speaks great English. He worked at the Red Cross Hospital in Okayama for many years and may be able to recommend an oncologist. Matsuo clinic is accessible by car, or a short walk from JR Omoto Station. The website for his clinic is here: http://www.matsuo-cl.jp/outline.html
Anyone recommend a good general practitioner in San Jose? I have a killer cough and need to go to the Dr. First time in a decade.
Gina P. replied:
Not in San Jose, but not far (Los Gatos) Dr. Tiffany Davies(408-378-1101) is awesome! She's our family doctor and was referred to me years ago by another family. Don't wait another decade to go to the doctor. If something ever isn't right, the doctor will have no frame of reference for comparison. Your body is like a car. It needs regular check-ups and maintenance if it's going to last another 60 years.
Mike J. replied:
Dont go to Dr. Martin over on Blossom Ave and Blossom Hill. Nothin but problems.
Stacy D. replied:
Los Gatos Urgent care. Open 7 days a week. Come anytime.
