Here's the thing, there are a number of very good parlors that any number of people are going to swear by. I've personally had a ton of work done at Regeneration in Allston and have always been satisfied. My next tattoo will likely be done at Eridanos in Central. I recommend checking out different ones (including portfolios online), maybe even talking to artists, and seeing who/what you click with. Good luck!
