And Dr. Fontenot is young and has young kids. You can tell he really likes kids. I had my 4 yo with me at an appointment for one of my older kids, and he talked and joked with her and gave her one of his tools to keep her occupied. Very, very good!

Dr Hart is very patient. Ian has brain injury, hydrocephalus and seizure disorder. He had 3 rd stage retinopathy as an infant and had weekly eye exams till he was almost 6 months old. He was a challenge to say the least. Still is! I do end up paying 50.00 out of pocket for a test health ins and Medicaid won't cover but I get billed and pay it off.

I use Dr Hart in LC across from Lake Area Medical center. My son was a preemie and our Optomologist specialist from New Orleans recommend him highly. He has been taking care of My son since he was 2 and he just turned 11.

Call the SWLA clinic in Lake Charles, they can refer you to the cheapest places. Or Sulphur Optical is pretty cheap & so is Walmart
