Kittrell is very affordable too! Have you tried Complete Vet Care? I don't know their prices but first office visit is free. Vaccinations really shouldn't cost that much.

If you can bear to wait until morning, go see Dr Darch at Kittrell Animal hospital. You will pay an outrageous rate at an after hours clinic. Keep him warm and quiet, make sure he's hydrated (turkey baster if he doesn't drink on his own). Maybe call the after hours vet for advice on an anti inflammitory. They will give you free advice:)

My husband has been treated at the Durham VA since 2009. All of his doctors are from Duke. He has had excellent care. He had a heart attack in 2010 and had top notch care all the way. He has been seen by neurology, cardiology, physical therapy, optometry, audiology and I forget where else and across the board has had excellent care. The Raleigh CBOC is always slow to get an appointment for his GP appointments.
