Thanks to everyone who responded!! Taking note of these tips for later. It took a while, but there must have been internet problems or phone problems and I was finally able to reach Brown Pest, Inc. (on North Patterson). We have used them since 2005 and our termite bond needs renewing during the next couple of weeks, so we will probably stick with them this year.

We've used Home Team for years. We originally got them because we were having ant problems and home remedies didn't work (and we tried a lot of them). We had bees invade the house this summer and they were able to smoke them out without killing the bees or us.

We like Brown Pest Control. But if it's just ants, don't worry about calling yet. Ants go underground, literally, during the coldest weather. My guess is that after this week you won't see them again for a few months.
