I just bought at the end of December, and my realtor Patti Smithdeal Sturdy used Greg Simmons, who did an awesome job. No surprises or shocks after moving in. I live on Irving near Hawthorne, a terrific block, very cool neighbors, including Patti herself.

Check into your plumbing. We bought our house and the issues haven't been awful but we found out after we moved in that our plumbing company was sued, lost and went bankrupt because they installed so much bad plumbing in their houses. Also, I recomme nd being there with the inspector during the inspection (you should be anyway but just a reminder)- that way you can see and take pictures of issues, as well as note the years on things like water heater & Heat/Cooling Pump. I used John Woodmansee as well.

I used Scott Guthrie. He's a nice guy with a strange sense of humor. He's been the broker for both my brother and I. He has a home inspector that he recommends. I highly recommend Scott.
