There is a vet close to your dad, bbut My neighbors take their dog to a vet close to Olivers Crossing, (out 150), because it is much more afordable. Vet care can get pricey, so look for a lower rent area. Overhead is the kicker.

NOT to me! I have depended on Ard Vista for remarkable care, while other vets have said "put them down"' without really working extremely hard to try to give me a little more time with my pets. They have gently advised me when it is no longer possible to keep them alive. Also Ard Vista has always been such good helpers when I bring in unusual critters that need more help than I can manage. They will WORK WITH YOU, if you explain the conditions you may be facing. Trust me...You get what you pay for!!! ARD VISTA ( BEST) !

Here is what I do and it works great and is the most affordable. I go to Pet Supermarket in Thruway. They have Vet Clinics there at least once a month. Next one is Feb. 28 th, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. He can get the his new pup up-to-date for a fraction of what any vet charges.

Ard Vista is a great vet and so is animal ark and so is abri and many more posted here. They are all just almost double the cost of Dr Smuck and welcome walk in clinic. Dr Smuck is the best and half the cost.

Dr Dixon on South Main St. is no nonsense and affordable. He clearly loves the animals as well.

ABRI Vet Hospital is just a few miles away from Ardmore. Wonderful vets there.

Having a dad who is 95, I still vote for Ard Vista. Of course, I am prejudiced as I have gone there for 45 years!

If you can make the trip to Lexington. North Davidson vet us by far the cheapest and most compassionate. They are so awesome there and built their business from Dr. Schmuck. Who is worth his weight in gold!

I love Dr. Waller at Village Vet Animal Hospital. He's several miles past Hickory Tree on Highway 150. 764-3000. He is easy to talk to, doesn't try to run the bill up with unnecessary things. AND my cats love him. I met him at another hospital when he was subbing for another vet who was having surgery. Now he has his own hospital. His prices seem really reasonable to me.
