Banfield Vet at Petsmart... I have both dogs on a wellness plan that makes it a lot cheaper. Two well visits a year and I never pay a vet fee just for going. Have had all my dogs on this and definately a lot cheaper!!!

Pine Meadow is Excellent. Dr. Mitzel is so cool-you will love him-reasonable alternatives ALWAYS! The Dix had a bump removed that could have cost over 500 but did it locally for 175$. We love him.

Especially because of SugarBaby and Kitty dying three weeks apart. And the costs that it could have entailed. With the Murph and the Dix, always a discount for a double visit. All are Va Tech Grads too (lol). Just about all the local vets have started out at Pine Meadow and then started their own practices. They all know each other and work swing shifts at the emergency care places. The only place I would NEVER EVER recommend is Grafton Animal Hosp. -long waits, not friendly, and over priced.

My son takes our pets to Care A Lot on Oyster Point, the vet is only there on Fri, Sat, or Sun mornings, we get there shots and the Doctor checks them, very cheap..they don't charge a office visit, just for shots
