Podiatrist recommendation Looking for a good Podiatrist in Albany area. Particularly, if anyone has had issues with plantar fibroma/fibromatosis.
Thanks
Got a question, can anyone recommend a great (at least very good) podiatrist in the Capital Region? I'm tired of the top of my foot hurting all the time. I wasn't...
Cindy G. replied:
Dr Quimby at Family Footcare on Central Ave in Colonie was recommended to me.
Deborah S. replied:

Can anyone recommend a podiatrist near Clifton Park or know how to alleviate plantar fasciitis?
June C. replied:
I have had planters in both feet. I have had cryo-surgery which I highly recommend if you are unsuccessful in getting rid of it for over a year. The last time it started to rear it's ugly head I went to the Dr. Scholls foot mapping machine in the CP CVS. Used the insoles and the pain is gone. I see Dr. Lam in schenectady.
Terri B. replied:
My husband saw Dr. Senick in Malta for his foot surgeries. He really liked her.
Tami G. replied:
I have had it for 10 years, I use to not even be able to get up and walk in the morning. Dr Berkowiyz was great a great podiatrist however issue totally not gone until I saw the magical Dr Milham the chiropractor inserts I got from the podiatrist didn't work but getting my feet fitted at Fleet Feet for sneakers and $45 inserts there worked wonders also
Jennifer B. replied:
Max has gone to Dr. Berkowitz (sp?) and he seems good. Yeah, right next to Healthplex.
Yvette F. replied:
I went to Clifton Park Podiatry. I was happy with him but my issue was much simpler than plantar fascists. It was a bit of a strange place in that it was incredibly laid back. I didn't really feel like I was in a Dr. office.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a podiatrist who deals with runners?
Susan H. replied:
Dr Lentini on Western Ave
Larissa C. replied:
Dr Andrew Hune. He is amazing
Jennifer L. replied:
Dr. Ginsburg! Albany foot care!
Lori A. replied:
Do NOT recommend Dr. Ginsburg. He basically dismissed my plantar fasciitis and told me to come back when i had rolled and stretched and iced. I had already done that for months! He was arrogant and condescending.
Can anyone recommend a podiatrist for runners? Specifically for bunions?
Christine F. replied:
I use Dr. Gerry Campo in Nisky and Clifton Park. He will get you in fast ! Mention my name to him. Has taken care of me for years including a stress fracture in my foot. A lot quicker than waiting for an orthopedic Dr to diagnose.
Joel S. replied:
Hey Heather! I've been to multiple podiatrists and all they've ever done for me is convince me to buy really expensive orthotics. Last year, I went to Steven over at Core Physical Therapy. We talked through my issues and went through a few months of therapy. By the end, my feet stopped hurting and I was just using a Dr. Scholl's off the shelf orthotic insert which was way more comfortable than the expensive ones. I've been mostly pain free for over a year.
Q. I'm looking for suggestions on good children's podiatrist around Albany Creek/Strathpine areas. Thanks

We saw Julie (can't think of her last name at the moment) she has a room at Action Physio at Albany Creek. I found her to be very straight forward and loved that she didn't rush into anything but instead gave us practical ideas to begin with to see if they would help first.
8 days out from Ironman Lake Placid, and last minute massage therapists on here that can get me in by Monday! 2nd any podiatrists on here? My 5th metatarsal area hurts...
Pamela J. replied:

Chris Pitts always had with bike shoes. And new shoes exacerbate it. But I have another go to shoe. Plus you guys are busy, didn't want to bother.
2 questions for the masses:
1. Can anyone recommend a good podiatrist, preferably close to Albany, whom works well with runners with major foot-structural issues?
2....
Chrissie C. replied:
Thanks, guys! Search function brought me directly to a previous post seeking a podiatrist, and it sounds like Mark Ginsberg is the man. Thanks a bunch for your help!
