I know it's not in Schenectady or Saratoga but Dr. Todd Beyer was my surgeon & I love him. He's at Albany Med along with Dr. Donna Pietracola who is also amazing

The Albany Med team work as a group with Dr Pietracola, the medical oncologist and the radiation oncologist. They have meetings and discuss the best plan of treatment. Therefore everyone is on the same page. I was very happy with their care.

I used Dr. Eugene Hoffert in Latham, in my opinion he saved my life! I chose him over Dr. Kreienberg who was my first choice until I met her and then met him. None of the really aggressive HER2 positive cancer showed up in my original biopsy or was seen in my many mammograms or MRI. Dr. Hoffert took generous margins because of the hot spot in my MRI (which was supposed to be scar tissue from the biopsy) the pathology report came back showing the aggressive cancer, a second surgery and clean margins! I don't want to think about how things could have gone if not for him!

My surgeon is Dr. Pietracola from albany med, but I think she is gearing down, not sure I'd she is accepting new patients. She is wonderful, she has a few associates, but I haven't met them
