Yes. One of my dogs had about complicated skin issue and my vet at Caring Hands Animal Hospital referred him to Bruce Hansen at the Veterinary Referral Center on Backlick Road. I had a good experience with Dr. Hansen's practice.

Acupuncture may be able to help - my kitty has been seeing Dr Barron with Acuvet for a few years. She's awesome and does house calls. 703-946-8171

Drs. Glenn & Aaron Fuchs on S. Carlin Springs (I think) in Arlington. My family's been going to them for years, not for hair loss, but for everything else skin-related.

Thanks for asking. I've had this question floating around in my head for a while now too. I've got a couple of spots that I think might be skin cancer that I'd like to get checked, but I never know how questions like this are going to go down on reddit/r/nova.

Dr. Henry and Dr. Kravitz in Burke have given me and a couple members of my family great care. I highly recommend them.
Anyone have a dermatologist in the DC area that they LOVE?
Amanda L. replied:
Dr. Mana Ogholikhan at Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery & Associates in Greenbelt, 301.345.7375. I wish I could have moved her here to OK with us! I had to go every 3-4 months to make sure there wasn't any more skin cancer. Let me know if you go and how you like it! Oh, they also have an office in Chevy Chase if that is more convenient for you.
Looking for a Dermatologist in NOVA or DC... Recommendations please!
