My hubby had his knee scoped by Dr. Danziger. I had a discectomy performed by Dr. Scheer about 15 years ago. These guys are kind of world renowned.

I severely sprained my AC joint playing soccer a couple of years ago and in a separate skiing accident chipped my humerus near the shoulder. These guys saw me both times. Both times they deemed the injuries moderate and recomended PT over surgery. Great folks. http://www.orthovirginia.com/

Angelika Schäfer I've seen a podiatrist on a Main St. in fairfax, Dr. Vetter. Also saw Dr. Lutta at Commonwealth Orthopedic. He works out if the Tyson's & Herndon offices (or at least did a couple of years ago). Good luck!
