Hi Beth - I had both dry cleaning and hemming done at the All Star Dry Cleaning in Arlington Heights, listed here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/all-star-dry-cleaning-and-tailoring-arlington. Ms Chi at the front desk is very friendly and did a great job with both. It's been a while so I don't remember the exact pricing, but it was less than $20 per piece then.

We use Sunny Cleaners at 463 Mass Ave. great people, reasonable prices. I've had them do a little sewing work which was very good.

I recently had a great experience at E-ZWay Quality Cleaners at 227 Main St in Woburn (781-933-1473) - I had several hundred dollars worth of dry cleaning as a result of a flood - the proprietor went over each piece with me telling me what needed to be done and the thinks that needed to be cleaned twice due to the odor/ fabric (I was out of town at the time of the flood so things sat for over a week) I was very pleased with them - probably worth showing it to her and getting an opinion

Sterling Cleaners in Belmont is the only place I'd even consider going to at present. I have a sensitivity to standard dry cleaning chemicals and their process is the only one that agrees with me. And they do great work too! Clothes are always totally clean and sharply pressed!

We're big fans of ACE cleaners on Mass Ave just past Shell if you are coming from the Center. It's owned by a sweet older couple. Always greeted with a smile, great prices, never a problem and I've had all sorts of things done - shirts, dresses, comforters - they even hem and sew clothes. Highly recommend.
Embassy Cleaners, all the way, the staff is extremely friendly and the quality of their work is exceptional.

We go to New Way Cleaners in the little strip mall over the line in Lexington just past Busa Liquors. We got into the habit of going there 'cause we seem to head in that direction on a fairly regular basis and parking is easy. Plus having a nice big open parking lot is handy when you're schlepping in or out with a big load of cleaning, which is usually the case with us since we tend to let it pile up.:-)
