My eyeglasses suck and I need new ones. I don't have vision insurance, does anyone have a recommendation for an affordable optometrist in the area? Thanks so much for...

49 dollars I’d you have a Costco membership. It might be cheaper for you to buy a Costco membership just to see the eye doctor.

Do you need an exam or just new glasses? Zenni is super cheap if you know your prescription.

Depending on what is affordable to you. America’s Best is on the cheaper side but will still be a couple hundred possibly

You’ll probably laugh, but I go to the Vision Center at Walmart (the Maplewood one on Big Bend). You can call for pricing, but they are one of the cheapest options. I think it’s around $60 for the basic eye exam for a glasses prescription. You can then use your prescription to get eyeglasses there, or buy online. I’ve had my Walmart eyeglasses since 2007. They’re fine.

I would check out Warby Parker, I think they have an online exam as well

Check out Copper Hinge on the loop. If you have a stronger prescription, they are more than the $95 base price but I believe otherwise you can any frame in the store for that price. I did not have my exam done there but have purchased some nice trendy glasses w/o insurance from them...good deal & supports local business. https://www.copperhinge.com/

I’ve used Target optical for prescriptions and had great success. Then I buy my glasses online, because the store prices are way too high for me. Zennioptical has the best prices if you need bifocals.

Jill Vocci at Cross Keys Pediactric (I still go there and Jill is really nice) (410) 433-8488 - don't buy glasses or contacts there. Annatruus Bakker gets her contacts online and buys glasses at the Mall or online.

Ross Bragel on Light Street (I think that's farther from you but yeah that's my optometrist)

I think Cynthia meant to say Dankner & Associates. They're in the same building and we often scheduled appointments back to back.
Who has the best deal or prices for an optometrist exam and eye glasses? Any suggestions would be appreciated. My mother needs to have an exam done so I'm looking around.
