I did a locum job for 4 weeks at Maine Medical center 2 summers ago.....the staff in psychiatry were good (for the most part) and they have a detox unit at one of their satellite clinics. Plenty of world class researches both through Harvard and the Harvard-MIT join program. On top of that there are researches at MGH. Can you be a bit more specific what kind of research you are looking for that the psychiatrist has engaged in? The field is so wide.
