Just like so many others have said, Dr Caulkins at Olympic Family Practice is the best! I was only able to see him for a short time before I switched to Tricare but actually called to find out if I could pay cash to continue seeing him. He is an amazing doctor and I would still be going to him today if I could.

I started seeing Dr. Dore in Bremerton and the first time I went he spent an hour and a half with me!!

Sound family health. Any of their Dr’s. They do very well. They are in Poulsbo though, up behind the Walmart.

Dr. Swift or his wife Dr. Miller across from Harrison Bremerton. He usually spends 25-45 min with me (longer on physical days--I even got an EKG on my first visit and since blood work was done a week prior he had ALL my info). I go to Dr Swift, my husband goes to Dr. Miller and we both love out doctor. Dr. Swift always asks me questions and makes suggestions for lifestyle and better health (I'm super healthy thank Heaven).

I see Dr Riquelme at Kaiser Permanente in Port Orchard. I never met a Doctor who walked out to the waiting room and called you back

Zack Budiselic is an ARNP at peninsula community health - I see him as my primary, and he always makes time to listen to my concerns. Highly recommended!

Doctor Obberhat in Poulsbo actually quit working at Harrison because they weren't allowing him to provide the good medical care he thought he should be able to provide. He is really good at looking for drug interactions and he never rushes my clients.

Dr Brian miller at kaiser P in Silverdale! Will stay with you as long as you need!!! He’s been my doctor since I was 1 day old!

I love Dr Amy Anderson and she's not your typical doctor.. She doesn't just supe you up on medicine, she actually listens to you and works with you on finding out thoroughly what's going on and fixing it and then asking you if you want medicine for it or would you like to try it this way first and then see if we need medicine.. She's amazing!!! I believe she is an D.O too, which basically means they complete their practices by understanding the patient and instead of looking at lets say 3 patients that have diabetes and treating them all the same because they all have diabetes,(which a lot of doctors now do) she treats them all differently in their own way because even though they all have diabetes they are each a different patient with different needs, reactions, and tolerances!!❤

Unfortunately Dr Tanaka isn’t taking new patients. But we really like Kaiser Permanante in general

Dr. Dawson in the Port Orchard Doctors Clinic I called the Silverdale one and they only had general doctor who they assigned me to and he was not good. I waited 6 months to get to go to Dr. Dawson and none in Silverdale would take even a 6 month wait for them.

Dr. Blitz-Siebert at The Manette Clinic! Just recently started with her and have loved the model they use along with the care and time to get to know me.

Dr Gretch at Olympic Internal Medicine. When I first met him, I told him that I wanted to be treated like a person with a family, not just a patient number and $$. That I wanted to be looked at in the eyes and that I’m a slow learner. He said “ you got it” and to let him know I ever started to feel that way. He would change. He has been amazing at helping me get through a cancer diagnosis and very understanding with my fear of flying.

My husband and I see Elisa Esper at Harrison health partners. We're both a bit complicated lol and have had very attentive care the last 3 years we've been with her.

You can call Doctors Clinic and see which doctors are taking new patients. Their website has descriptions of some of them. I see Dr. Sally Fleischman in Poulsbo, and I can completely recommend her.

I really like Dr Robert Caulkins in Manette (near the hospital). His staff has been with him a long time, and he is a brilliant diagnostician.

I second Dr. Caulkins! His staff and himself are amazing with my kids and us.

Caulkins is amazing man and Dr. Just stay away from his underlings not a fan of his ARNP!

I liked Dr. Caulkins. I found him ANTI medication, not PRO. In fact, he refused to fill a prescription for my husband. He seems to have a very holistic approach which I like, but he also has some very strong opinions about some medications.

Ally at Virginia Mason on Bainbridge Is. Dr Rogers. She is the best used her for about 10 yrs. hated to have to leave her. 206 842-5632 if you are interested. Highly recommend her.

I was recommended to dr Andrea Chymiy in Poulsbo. Haven't been yet so I can't say anything other than I had a recommendation to her.

I love my dr...dr Teresa Anderson at sound family health in Poulsbo by OC. She's fantastic.

I do not recommend Dr. Chymiy. Both my sisters have had her, and she doesn't seem to be very thorough, at least in their experience. I have Dr. Jillian Worth at Virginia Mason on Bainbridge and I absolutely love her. Plus, I love that I have my own nurse so I don't have to deal with a different stranger every time I go.

Uhhh, Sound Family Health!! Dr.Hoffman, best Dr in the county! Bonus: I work there!

Dr. Courtney Havers at the Drs. Clinic/Silverdale. She is great! Very personable, thorough and up to date on the latest in health care. I have always appreciated that she isn't a Dr. that just wants to prescribe you a pill to "fix" things. If you're interested, let me know and I will get you her number.:)

My primary doc is Marie Matty at the Doctor's Clinic in Poulsbo. Kind of a drive, but she's worth it. Dr. Chymy is her partner in the clinic, and is equally as good.

My family has seen Dr Caulkins at Kitsap Family Practice. He has cared for 4 generations of my family ages 1 to 92.

We have Dr. Calkins and love him. Our experience with him has always been excellent. Our elder friends, the Smally's, introduced him to us when we first moved here. Mrs. Smally loved Doctor Calkins enough to call him her son.

Dr. Caulkins is a gem. He's located across street from the hospital.

I love Dr. Courtney Havers at the Doctors Clinic in Silverdale.

I second Laura! The Doctors Clinic in Poulsbo is great.

I also have BCBS and I really like Dr Gretch on Wheaton Way as my primary physician.

I've heard good things about Dr Matty, I did have Chymy for about a year but I guess our personalities just didn't mesh so I left that practice since it was quite a drive, I other Drs I hear good things about are Dr. Caulkins, Dr. Hutchinson, Dr. Paull, Dr. Speiker. They all work different places, I work at an urgent care so I hear a lot about primary Drs lol good luck!

My husband and I highly recommend Kitsap Clonic of Natural Medicine. We are new to the neighborhood too and we love their care.:-) And, right here in Manette. We really like Dr. Christine in their office.

My husband used Dr Gretsch for a few years, and he was okay. We both now see Dr Robert Caulkins. I think he is a brilliant diagnostician; and his PA, Jill is very good also.

We have Dr. Caulkins, best Doc ever. Can't stand the doctors At Peninsula.

Wherever you go, avoid Dr. Frandsen. Absolute disconnect with reality and his patients.

I can't recommend Kitsap Clinic of Natural Medicine enough. I'd seen over 5 different clinics/dr.s here before I lucked into finding them. Great staff, close location, they spend time talking and listening to you instead of rushing you out the door.

I'm sorry more have not come forward with recommendations. They must be seeing veterinarians. Kidding. For several years now my wife and I have seen Robert Caulkins, family practice. His office is nearby over near the old Harrison Hospital. The staff are very thorough and attentive. I find Dr Caulkins listens carefully and does not ignore the patient's opinion of their condition. The office is child friendly with an area for kids. I hope this is helpful. Finding a new doctor in a new neighborhood can be stressful. Good luck.

I see Mark Hoffman (though I've heard wonderful things about all of their physicians) at Sound Family Health in Poulsbo and have had a great experience. Their office staff if friendly and they're always very prompt. I know finding a new doctor can be difficult but I can't say enough good things about them!
