Pro Optical Boston: [https://www.proopticalboston.com/](https://www.proopticalboston.com/) Near MGH, they validate parking in the lot by the Whole Foods **and** they have a retinal imaging system.

I use Paris Eyecare on Moody St in Waltham for my prescription for glasses (and when i used to have contacts). Been going to her for about 6 years and have always been happy with Dr Paris. She's friendly and my prescription is always correct.

as someone whose spent countless hours@Mass Eye & Ear due to serious eye problems.. cant speak highly enough of the doctors over at EyeBarBoston ([https://eyebarboston.com/](https://eyebarboston.com/)) ended up changing the type of lenses (was always in the double digit negatives) which worked out for the best and on top were kind enough to do a pre-fight eye exam (days before my bout) in addition to answering/helping out when I showed up randomly with a question

Greene and Greene in Watertown Square. Really thorough and genuinely nice optometrist. Front desk is friendly. I think the glasses they sell are expensive and limited in variety but I only wear contacts so no biggie for me.

should be ok with just about any eye doctor. my fiancee went to the one in a target store and it went pretty smoothly, especially if you just need updated prescription. if you have serious eye problems that need special care, i would advise going to mass eye & ear.

I had good luck recently with Dr. Curtis Frank. https://www.doctorcurtisfrank.com He is affiliated with For Eyes which is right next door to his office in downtown Boston. I was able to get updated glasses AND contacts prescriptions within 20 minutes. Also his office didn’t need to dilate my eyes, they had some fancy Nikon machine that took pictures of your eyes instead. Just FYI it was not covered by my insurance and I didn’t find out until after. But overall I had a great experience.

General Optical on Mass Ave in Porter is really great. I've been going there for a few years now. They also sell glasses up front, but the doctor's office is distinct and you can opt out of purchasing them there. http://www.generaloptical.com/about/crystal.php
