I second Dr Thompson he is the most amazing friendly doctor out there... He spoiled me so I am still working to find an adult primary care physician that matches his level of care

For pediatricians, I highly recommend the good folks over at Whole Kids in Grandview. Dr. Sant welcomed Thea the day after she was born, and Adrianne her NP has done almost 100% of her well visits since then and has been considerate, compassionate, and always listens. (I should note though that they do have a membership fee because their care is much more holistic than the standard, but we found it to be very much worth it.) For primary care docs for adults, I know many people recommend River's Edge Family Practice - we went there a few times, and while the quality of care is nice, neither Scotty nor I felt particularly listened to - but that might just depend on which of the doctors you're seeing. Good luck sweetheart!
