I am so very sorry for your loss. I am so glad that you asked this question. It will be so helpful to be with others right now who have lost a loved one. I went to a grief group in Cumming last year and it was exactly what I needed to learn to cope with my loss. I am so grateful to those I went through this process with. I looked on the website of the grief classes I went to to see who is offering it right now in Cumming. I will post it below. You just show up at the location you choose on the night and time that is listed. You can call ahead but you don't have to. Most classes started already but mine had also. New people will come in all the time so it's fine to go now. The classes will start over again later and you can pick up the sessions you missed if you want. You can go to all or just when you are up to it. I went to all because it was the one place all week that I felt I belonged after my mom passed. No one in my life understood what I was going through and I felt very alone. These people at grief group did understand and welcomed me from the first night. You do not have to attend church elsewhere or any of these churches to go to the grief group they offer. That is my understanding from the one I went to. My church did not offer grief groups at the time of my loss. So I ended up coming across these groups at other churches nearby. . Everyone is welcome. I highly recommend it. If you have any questions, please pm me. I'm happy to try to answer them about this grief program. I will keep you in my prayers. I cannot imagine what you are going through and I am so very sorry. These daily grief emails are wonderful too. They are free and you can sign up here: https://www.griefshare.org/dailyemails I searched zip code 30041 with results below in picture. To search other Cumming area zip codes for grief groups: https://www.griefshare.org/ Griefshare groups in Cumming right now zip code 30041:
