Go to 20/20 Eyeworks in Chapel Hill! It’s right off 40 and the service there is amazing! The frames they carry are so unique - they even do vintage frames. It’s worth the drive!

Upchurch Optical has two locations in Durham. They have an awesome frame selection, and excellent opticians. I have a high prescription and the glasses I've purchased from them have always turned out well, aesthetically.

Downtown Raleigh EyeCareCenter on East Hargett. I just purchased a pair of glasses and brought in another pair of frames for the same reason (prescription too strong) to get better lenses put in. I've been a patient of Dr Weitz for several years and his staff is great. They worked with me trying on many pairs until I found some that were perfect. My glasses came back very fast, they fit well, and look wonderful. Can't recommend this team strongly enough!
