Alicia M. replied:
We use target brand diaper rash cream mixed with baby a&d ointment half and half and this is going to sound crazy but we blow dry her butt with warm air every diaper change. It works!! Never a diaper rash! Our pediatrician is at western wake pediatrics her name is Dr. Monica Shelton
Natasha K. replied:
Alicia MartinYour actually the second person who has recommended blow drying her butt. Lol thanks for the advice
Ashley P. replied:
Raleigh Pediatrics at White Oak is very good, Dr. Hedgepeth is great. As for the diaper rash, Google magic butt cream, it has three normal ingredients in it. You can mix it at home yourself much cheaper than with a prescription. It works miracles. I had a friend tell me to but Mylanta on Tanner's butt and blow dry it. It helps block the acid causing the diaper rash. Hope she is better soon.

Love Dr. Hedgepath and Dr. Britt at Raleigh Peds White Oak.

Natasha Tarleton King blow dry her bottom and try using Maalox or the other one, sorry I can not think of the name. Kaylee had some of the worst diaper rashes ever and this always helped. Just make sure her bottom is completely dry!!! You can also try putting a towel under her and letting her lay in a nice sunny spot in the house. That will help dry it out as well. Good luck sweetie!

Dr. Parker at Kids pediatrics(on 42) is what I have been using for a while..haven't had any problems!
We need to start looking for a pediatrician... any garner/Raleigh moms have recommendations? And why do you recommend them?
Eryn S. replied:
Dr. Hedgepeth is AWESOME. He's done all of Bradley's check ups. Dr. Hunt is great too, but she is having (or just had) a baby, so I'm not sure when she'll be back. Dr. Britt has always been great with Bradley too. Raleigh Peds (Garner office) is definately where I would recommend. I know they have certain insurance they don't take though:-/.
Allison B. replied:
We go to Raleigh Pediatrics' Garner office. Love them. With two kids, we cannot complain at all. Our doc of choice is Dr. Johnson. He never rushes us, has "real" conversations, etc.
Eryn S. replied:
I'm pretty sure they are talking about the same place. I call it Garner Peds all the time, even though its technically Raleigh Pediatrics.
Jennifer V. replied:
We go to garner peds too. I have seen Dr hedgepeth a few times and really liked him too. Dr. Sartschev is who we started out seeing. She is really good too. And Dr hunt is awesome but like Eyrn said she is having a baby at the end of the month.
Chrissy R. replied:
What no Dr. Manne? Jk, you know we used to go to Raleigh peds (dr. Hedgepath) but then they stopped taking united healthcare and we went to dr. Manne but we just switched to blue cross blue shield and are transferring back to Raleigh peds.

Carolina Kids - amazing!! We use Dr Nechyba (Neeky-ba) and Dr Willey would be our next choice. They are wonderful. They have sick walk in hours 4 weekdays and both weekend days in the am before the regular appointments start. I've recommended them to friends who have switched to them and are also very happy.
Ashley V. replied:
Jeffers and Mann and Artman! They are amazing! Dr.Overcash is who sees Chloe.
