I would go to Rush University Hospital Chicago for a good rheumatologist. Would not use delnor/northwestern.

Dr Furmanov in DesPlaines is amazing. Worth the drive. Dr. Katz at Rush Chicago is supposed to be very good but I have not seen him personally

I have the same rheumatologist and had the same thing happen. Disconcerting for sure. I ended up getting an appointment with a doctor at CDH, where I prefer to go anyways, Dr Weckerle. I still had to wait until end of August, but better than September or October, I suppose. I know it's frustrating, unfortunately there just aren't very many rheumatologist to choose from. Maybe an orthopedic can help you until you can get in?
