It's pretty thoroughly established that the largest benefit of acupuncture comes from placebo effect and there isn't any real scientific basis for the treatment, I'd divert you time and money elsewhere. Diet is really important for headache/migraine sufferers. I would think you want a general surgeon not an otolaryngologist. Dr Anthony Altimari at CDH recently performed a thyroidectomy on a friend of mine. He is a great surgeon and great person.

She has been good throughout some major medical events... Other peds in the office: Dr. Kris Redjukowski is very good and Dr. Nayarra is good (but we did have a contentious situation w/ Lyme disease where she didn't listen- and had to have a neuro dx it in the peds ICU..., since she has been responsive and pleasant when Dr. Jenny has been out of town, etc.)
