Dr. Kerpe he just moved to new offices and he is amazing. Listens cares and doesn't answer to a huge practice. He is also a hospitalist which means if you ever get admitted you can have your own doc which is very rare around here. Most PCPs aren't at the hospital anymore.

The receptionist, Cathie, answers the phone, makes personal reminder calls, and will get questions answered by Dr. Kerpe or Carol, the clinic manager.

Dr Ciechanowski in St. Charles is absolutely the best doctor ever! Experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate and not greedy. He has his own practice though, so the call center answers the phones before 3 pm ( his business hours are from 3 pm to 9 pm).

When I was pregnant searching for a pediatrician I always felt like they were too busy and made it seem like they would be doing me a favor by allowing me to bring my baby there. Dr. Hrdlicka was my gp at the time and and I asked if I could have him handle the peds needs of my baby to be. He was amazing! He helped me with dealing with some hospital nurses who tried pushing their beliefs (and formula) on this first time mom. Always attentive and I have to say my daughter was rarely ill. I wouldn't trust just anyone with my newborn!

Dr Epperly's staff is phenomenal for thyroid btw. Most other docs are completely uniformed-old fashioned about thyroid. They are a mix of MD and natural. They treat everything else as well.

Dr Ashley Muhr. The sweetest, most gentle dr I have ever met. She listens, tries her best to allow you your preferences, and always returns emails that she allows you to send her personally. She's wonderful. Her office is in Delnor, lab work is always available same day, it's great.

I love Dr. Patel at dryer in Batavia. Ratjua is her first name. She is very thorough and I’m amazed by how smart she is. She always knows exactly what is going on as soon as I explain symptoms.

Dr. Susan Hamada in S. Elgin is a wonderful diagnostician......

Just make sure you check that they are affiliated with a hospital that accepts BCBS. I am with BCBS and my doctors accept but Delnor, CDH, Sherman, none of them accept BCBS. So if need to have any kind of tests done, etc. they may need to refer you. I have recently had a major hassle. Had to find a dr. affiliated with Rush Copley or Presence Mercy in Aurora (closest).

I have BCBS (HMO), and am a bit if a hospital snob.... my preference is always CDH. I found someone, Dr Edward Ward. He is kind, patient, thorough, forward thinking but not one of those guys that hand out meds just for the fun of it, which I really appreciate. Good luck! Huge plus is That I have been very happy with the specialists within this medical group as well
