AALOC needs a foster for a large senior whose owner died. He lived with 4 cats and two other dogs who have been placed or passed away. He has had so much anxiety since losing his family that he chewed on kennel doors and broke his teeth needing dental work which was done. Mesha is 13 years old and about 80 lbs. www.AALOC.org

Colleen McCammon he's beautiful, they're all beautiful! I accepted the very first opportunity. If something happens and they found a home for the German Shepard I will contact you. Michelle Reno Pooler what a wonderful concept. As soon as my new friend finds his way back to his family (from what I understand he needs a foster mom for several months) I will Contact Cuddly Canines. Thank you all so very much. What an honor that I get unconditional love for the next several months.

Every rescue is in need of foster homes. Just make sure you align yourself with a good, reputable rescue that will offer support and guidance through the foster to adoption process. I am the Regional Coordinator in So Cal for IMPS. www.minpinrescue.org So other great rescues mentioned here.

Thanks Sandee Mendelson Reid AALOC is no kill and has a Forever Foster program where animals that have less chance of being adopted because they are older or have special needs can live with a permanent foster and AALOC pays for all vet care for life and food. With a dog door, you may want to foster larger dogs due to the coyotes. www.AALOC.org
Thanks Gale Glendon! We already briefly spoke.:) We're going to touch base today. Foster homes are the KEY to saving and placing functional dogs and without them, rescues can't save more lives. I also want potential fosters to know that they screen the rescues as well. They are doing us rescuers and dogs an enormous favor by opening their homes and we must find like minded people to work with. I look forward to speaking with her in greater detail and hope she can reach out to rescues and find the best suited match for her and her family's capabilities and lifestyle!

Philharmonic Society of Orange County . Our main purpose is raising money to support music in Orange County schools. We host concerts at Segerstrom Hall for 2 nd graders and 5 th graders, the Music Mobile visits schools and presents an assembly to 3 rd graders. We also send performers to do programs to whole schools. Many instruments are presented to the local schools with money raised from our activities like the Cruise of Lights and the House of Design. There is a local office at the Huntington Harbour Mall.

Second Chance Pet Adoptions could come out to set traps and catch spay/neuter and release. The cats would still be in your area, but no more babies. It might be a bit of time before we can catch the one pregnant and get her fixed
