You recommended just about everything that made my pregnancy, birth, and after go well! You recommended my Obgyn, the hospital, Dr Eaton, and then Amy Ferris for help later. I'm sure there was more, but I know those were crucial.

Ladies, thank you so much. I am working on my new website and you may know the name of my new practice is Indy Doula Associates, but I'm not sure if you noticed the Nurture.Guidance.Connections? I feel very strongly about those as a doula to my clients and the community. That is who we are and what we represent. I can't wait for you all to meet and work with the other doulas at IDA!

You referred me to some awesome people! Dr. Eaton, Jacqui for massage, Darla Berry, and Lisa Lahey LC. They were all amazing!
Lindsay M. replied:
Most of my referrals you did are already mentioned smile emoticon . Add Nicole Van Klompenburg with nurtured beginnings to your list for postpartum doula/lactation counselor if not already on it - she is amazing!! http://www.nurturedbeginningsbynicole.com/about.html

Congratulations! Would you be able to make it to our meeting next week? Monday, 6-8, at the Warren branch of the Indy library. The Homebirth Support Group does not recommend healthcare providers. This is a forum for families who choose Homebirth to share stories and experiences. Individual members may share their midwives' contact info. Have you checked the websites for MANA or ACNM? They may have provider directories. Also, the Preserving Indiana Birth Choices page has a number of active midwives who participate.

Dr. Nour in Terre Haute is supposedly hiring 2 midwives. I am not sure when. I will ask at my next appointment in 2 weeks and get back to you.
