Might try comprehensive psychiatric assoc. 453-7473 but I doubt they will be able to get you in that quickly, tell them what's going on and see if they have suggestions.

My husband and I love [Health Suite 110] (http://www.healthsuite110.com/). They're direct primary care, so they don't take insurance, but having access to our docs via text and email, pretty much no wait at the office, and the attention they pay to us is well worth the monthly fee.
RedShirtLibrarian replied:
Dr. Matthew Buss at Shawnee Mission Primary Care isn't cold at all - very friendly actually, and he usually downplays the possible severity of results... if thats what you're into. He's a nice dude anyway.
ShauntayHenderson replied:
Subscribed. I'm looking for one too in roughly the same area.

Damn. I love my doctor but she is A- in Platte City (I live downtown) and B- doesn't do insurance.

Would be nice. I'm looking for a new GP. Done with my last one for the same reasons posted by the OP, in addition to being tired of dealing with the consistently bitchy office staff. I've received two recommendations from friends and family, neither were taking new patients.

i see Dr Norman Koehn. He is a very thorough Dr not to chatty but listens and seems to know his stuff.

Dr. Ray Fisher. A christian doctor and one who Phil Newln recommened me too. You will like him.
Sue H. replied:
You could contact Dr. Bob Bingaman & ask him for a referral.
Katie H. replied:
Christine Page... I can say from personal experience that Dr. Ray Fisher is the MEANEST and NASTIEST person I have ever professionally and personally encountered. He is a cherub around his patients and a mean, grumpy, unhappy man around everyone else.
Looking for a good family doctor where we don't have to wait 1-2 hours to see the doctor.
Alyssa R. replied:
Chelsie, its a bit of a drive but we use Priority Care Pediatrics on North Oak. They are very punctual and Ive never waited more then 5 mins!
Nikki M. replied:
Kearney family clinic is usually fast. If you want a separate pediatrician, we take Cash to Healthcare for Children. We've never waited long at either place.
I Almost feel like I need a new family doctor. He never had an opening unless it's about two weeks out. Suggestions for one around the grain valley area would be great...
