I just started going to Hyghland Cronin at Dermatology & Skin Cancer center 94 th & N Oak. I liked her but usually see their PA (Angie, I think), but I don't know if she comes to the northland office.

You might also consider Dr Reisz.

Dr. Bruce Kauk is a Family Medicine practitioner, reported to be very knowledgeable about gluten issues.
Ronda R. replied:
Peter E Messenger, do you see Dr. Reisz? Is she knowledgeable about dermatitis herpetiformis? I have an appointment with her, but I have to wait 6 weeks for the appointment. I also have an appointment with Dr. Thomas on Antioch. Does anyone know anything about him? I have also been referred to Dr. Nancy Russell who practices alternative/holistic medicine. Anyone know anything about her? Thanks so much!
Ronda R. replied:
Kind of leaning toward getting an appointment with Dr. Russell...just feel like this is DH, but I may need some help with other foods as gluten-free alone does not seem to be helping yet (although it has only been a little over a month and I know the skin stuff can take a while to resolve). Wondering about iodine and salicylates too. Any experience with that?
Ronda R. replied:
Think I am also going to try to get into Dr. Russell. The itching continues........
ok people - anyone know of a good allergist in the KC area? The one I went to today - well it was unacceptable appointment. Who would you recommend?

I go to Dr. Cori Passer, Allergy & Asthma Care, 435 & Nall. Just FYI, in case you still need to get in to someone. I've seen most of the other doctors there and they have all been great.
Anyone interested in doing some yard work? I have a flower beds that need weeding & vines/trees around my fence. My allergist is much happier when I DON'T do this...
