Dr. Jan Brandes 615-284-4680 has changed my life. She is in downtown Nashville in office building across from St Thomas Midtown ER. I was referred to her from Vanderbilt Migraine Clinic neurologist. You will need a referral. According to him, she is one of the best in the country & patients fly here from across the country. She did the most thorough assessment of my headaches I had ever had & ruled out multiple other diagnoses because she thought I may have been misdiagnosed. I highly recommend.

I'd suggest you go ahead and find a neurologist. You're probably not going to get in today though. I'd recommend Dr. Zhou at Summit. He's very personable! In the meantime go see Derek Totty or Liz Totty. I've found great relief in chiropractic and acupuncture. They have 2 locations-Mt. Juliet or Hermitage. Both are great!

I have had headaches as long as I can remember, almost daily.... they seem to be a combination of tension/sinus/allergy/cluster/migraines and I have yet to find any meds that have helped me. Chiropractic care has helped a great deal.

Brandi my fiance has epilepsy, and had a major thing happen to him last year. Dr Lim was the only doctor able to pinpoint exactly what it was. He's switched his regular neurologist to Dr. Lim at Summit. I'd definitely recommend seeing him.

I see Dr. Graham at Centennial. He has the best bedside manner ever. He's a migraine specialist and the first doctor to actually get them under control and to get my step limits overwritten on my insurance so I could have enough medicine to last each month. He's one of those doctors I would drive hours to see as opposed to finding a new one if we ever moved.

He is Asian with a very thick accent though, so if you have a difficult time understanding anyone with an accent you may want to bring someone who can help you understand him or I would see someone else. Have you thought about the possibility of a chiropractor and getting him an adjustment. Could be a pinched nerve, etc that is causing headaches. I go to Diana Tucker at Tucker Chiro in MJ. She is wonderful and also uses essential oils for relief.

Dr. Steven Graham at Centennial. He has the BEST bedside manner of nearly any doctor I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot). He's also a headache specialist and went to the trouble to do all the paperwork with my insurance company to get my step limits overriden for my migraine meds. If we moved anywhere within 8-10 hours away, I would drive back to continue seeing him. After having migraines since I was a child, he is the first person to truly help me.

I love Dr. Steven Graham at Centennial Physician's Plaza. I suffered from chronic migraines for years, with PCPs patronizing me about my "headaches." Dr. Graham got my triptan (only relief medicine I react to) step limits over-ridden and got me approved for Botox. His office staff is great. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. If I moved within an 8-10 hour distance, I would make the drive just to keep my Dr. Graham appointments. He's THAT good.

Oh god, don't use Dr. Zhou. We got his MA a few months back and a lot of his patients are coming to us now that she moved, apparently he is the rudest and meanest. I work in Dr. Wagner's office in the same building, summit medical center. Check him out.
