Need recommendations for a really good foot doctor. Injured Achilles and have no clue who to go to in this area. I live in Lebanon but doesn't have to be in Lebanon....
Cheryl L. replied:
Dr. Suh is awesome.
Robyn T. replied:
I was going to try Dr Suh but didn't know anything about him and sometimes Lebanon doctors just are not that great lol
Melanie K. replied:
Dr Bethany Gallagher at the Mt Juliet location of Vanderbilt Orthopaedics, across from Providence

Dana P. replied:
Dr Suh is awesome
Edith G. replied:
Dr. Roger Passmore treated me 4 years ago for 2 broken large bones and one broken metatarsal in my foot as well as a Lissfranck injury. I am an old gal. I can walk 12 miles on the hottest day with no swelling and no pain not a twinge. I cannot thank my lucky stars often enough for guiding me to find him.
Lita B. replied:
Dr Hawthorne
Susie P. replied:
Agree with Dr. Bushman. http://www.healthgrades.com/provider/tod-bushman-2 rn5 q

Alana B. replied:
I would not recommend Dr. Hawthorn. I ended up with more problems after I saw him. But everyone's experience is different.
Carol W. replied:
my daughter more than fifteen years back had terrible bunions (worse than an old ladies) where Dr Hawthorn had to cut a triangle piece of bone out both big toes and put metal in her feet for a month and a half...he did a wonderful job and if you look at her feet today you'd never know how much cutting he had to do...she still brags on him...
Jason G. replied:
Dr Hawthorn is not for everybody. He's a very normal talking doctor, meaning you're not just another chart to him. He's quite good at what he does, but he's not going to medical speak you to death.
Elizabeth N. replied:
Dr house at Cumberland chiropractic and sports medicine he does more than the popping your thinking of. Check out the website www.cumberlandspine.com

Does anyone have recommendations for a podiatrist? I've been dealing with major plantar fasciatitis. My sister had the same issue and told me to find a podiatrist who...
Lori H. replied:
I suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for years and even had those horribly painful cortisone shots. Nothing helped. I started drinking Plexus Slim (The Pink Drink) and it helped tremendously with inflammation....I don't hurt anymore. If you are interested in trying it, message me. It's much better and easier to deal with than the treatment I went through that didn't work.
Kristen C. replied:
Dr. Bushman is great!
Griff A. replied:

I second Dr Bushman. I did the shockwave therapy (with another doctor) and it didn't do anything for me. Dr Bushman ended up doing surgery (fascia release) and I finally have relief!
Angela F. replied:
Dr Timothy Bush at St Thomas. I recommend looking for a podiatrist that is also surgically trained so in case you have to have surgery they are capable of it, as not all podiatrists are. Both he and his partner are surgically trained. Their office is small, easy to get in to, and he has a wonderful bedside manner.
Amber H. replied:
Dr. Bushman is the absolute best!!
Jill B. replied:
Dr Hawthorne at Neuhaus just operated on my left foot 3 weeks ago and I am already so much better. Massive heel spur removed, plantar facsiectomy, neuroma removed all at once. I'm so thankful he figured it out and has gotten rid of the pain.

Dr Hawthorne at Summit. Gave me a shot. ( it hurt ) but I'd do it again if I ever got it again. Best shot I ever had. It was Gone 24 hrs later. Dr Hawthorne is awesome real easy to talk to and a nice person.

I'm looking for recommendations for a podiatrist in the area. Anyone know of a good one? I have to find all new doctors since we are still kind of new to the area &...
Christy Q. replied:
Tod Bushman at Summit. First time I tried to get in there, the wait was too long, and I saw Sheila Schuler on Donelson Pike and she was good too.
Ted H. replied:
I would suggest that you hook up with Dr. John Scott Major at Summit Primary Care and Walk In Clinic. There are 6 Drs there, in house labs & xrays, and practicing privileges at Summit Hospital. Meaning that should you be hospitalized, YOUR Dr. is still YOUR Dr. and you are not passed off to a hospitalist. Dr. Major can refer you to all the specialists that you need. But it's a darn good place to park your medical records. That's my opinion........it ought to be yours!!
Michelle K. replied:
I suggest https://www.facebook.com/146993748663381 Neuhaus Foot & Ankle. They have several locations including a location in Mt. Juliet only a few days a week. Dr. Kumar is AMAZING.
Looking for references for a foot doctor. Think I might have a bone spur on my heel. Thanks!
Roxann A. replied:
Tod Bushman is the best! He has an office in MJ two days a week. He works with the AOS group at the Children's Clinic East, next to Bar-B-Cutie.
Elaine R. replied:
Neuhaus foot an ankle, 615 - 889-2323. They have a few locations Hermitage, Mt. Juliet Smyrna, and Lebanon. Used to be Dr. Hawthorn's office in Hermitages. Dr. P. Kumar is very good! I worked for Dr. Hawthorn for many years.
Noreen M. replied:
i went to my regular Primary Care Physician for a bone spur on my heal and also on top of the same foot. She gave me an RX for an anti-inflammatory and I bought a gel shoe liner. The spur went away after a week or two. A lot of people have told me they had a bone spur and that it went away by itself. Hopefully you won't need surgery - they don't always turn out well.
David W. replied:
I had one under my Achilles tendon. Dr. Tod Bushman got me back on my feet. Literally.
Looking for recommendations for a good Podiatrist. My daughter is 11 and has a an infected ingrown toe nail. So a need a podiatrist that will be gentle but good.
Does anyone know of a podiatrist in the area who can see me this afternoon? I teach so I am on my feet all day and can't wait 2-3 weeks to be checked out.
Amy B. replied:
