Resurgens is the best. I have a ACL and meniscus repair with Dr. Ansari (he is where at the doctors go when they need an orthopedist) and my son broke his arm clear in half recently and Dr. Hollinger did a great job. Love Emory but you better be ready for a big medical bill. Recently had surgery there and they charge a ton for their services

Dr. King really helped me with a serious issue. What I liked was that he did x-rays, discussed the results with me. He was ready to refer me out for an MRI but we decided to work together for a few weeks on my problem to see if we could handle it conservatively. My husband and I both have back issues. Mine is a 20 year old issue that flares up every 3-4 years. 3 herniated discs. I did not respond well to chiropractic care. I do very well, better than others, with epidurals, under the care of Dr Eli Finklestein@Resurgens. My advice would be try Chiropractic care first. I always felt some relief after every visit. If your friend isn't, they should possible change it up.

I agree with Dr Ansari at resurgens. He was the only one who listened to me and understood something was not right with my shoulder. He performed surgery on me and found that I didn't have a ligament holding my socket in my shoulder together. He made me a new one and I have been happy and can do all the things I was doing before surgery and even more. He is amazing!!

My fiancé just got her right knee replaced. Custom titanium replacement and it's a month later and she's up and around famously. Dr Michael Hogan...private practice. Rated very high and 30 years in. Remember PT and exercise after or a waste of time. Look him up.

In October, he performed brain surgery on me and he was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! While sitting in his waiting area, I've heard lots of very positive comments from spinal surgery patients. I too have pinched nerves/herniated discs in my neck that cause numbness and pain and did pt for a long time, apparently it's something you learn to live with and try to minimize the pain until you can't take it any longer. DR Patel in Johns Creek at Dominion Orthopedic is amazing. My daughter had a severe injury and DR Patel has been with us from the beginning. She loves her patients like family and we always feel so well cared for by her practice.

I am 44 and just had both my knees replaced (staged 10 w apart). I used Dr Stephen Kim at Resurgens (Marietta/Towne Lake, sorry not Forsyth). There's a great message board at bonesmart.org with so much info on TKR that I highly recommend. Generally the only regrets most people have is waiting so long. I'm still in the thick of recovery, but I walked my first mile today and while everything else hurt bc I've been sedentary since April, my knees feel great. Do it!! You want someone who does lots of knees - at least 200 per year. Good luck. It's definitely not evidence based to wait til someone is 50+ any more, allowing their quality of life to decline significantly. Keep looking.

I wouldn't go to Resurgeons. Been there a few times with other things and they are great but for foot trouble you need to see a podiatrist. Dr Hintze is awesome and you can get in to see him right away. Smaller practice=more personal attention and FaceTime!

Dr. Mowbray is great. Resurgeons Northside Forsyth. He did my Carpal Tunnel surgery 3 years ago and has helped my mother with some hand issues. Great "bedside manor".

Dr Duckett At Academy Orthopedics Is Fantastic! Had Hurt My Hand At Work And Went To ER. They Said Sprain Finger Without Taking Any Xrays. Put A Splint On And Sent Me On My Way Saying It Was Not My Finger That Was Hurt. Finally Went To Acadmy And Dr Duckett Knew It Wasn't A Sprain By Taking Xray. I Had A Blood Clot And Had To Have An Emergency Surgery.So Blessed I Was Led To Dr Duckett Who Took The Time And Truly Was Concerned And Cared What The Problem Was. Have Had To Have 2 Emergency Surgeries All Due To The No Concern Get Me In And Out ER Doctor.
